Crossroads

The Crossroads Shopping Center, located at the mouth of Carmel Valley, needed to expand, remodel and develop a new Village theme. Ray Parks and Associates was selected as the architect to analyze the existing facility and create a new Master Plan for the environmentally sensitive site next to the Carmel River.

The renovation plans required some buildings to be completely demolished and rebuilt while others were renovated to enhance the village character and improve the pedestrian experience of Carmel.

The pedestrian walkways and courtyards were analyzed and reconfigured to link the old and new buildings and create a shopping experience which is worth the time spent. The Crossroads has become a favorite destination for locals and tourists to spend time meeting and relaxing with friends.
