Ventana

Ventana Inn is a unique hotel, spa and restaurant hugging the Big Sur coastline which has been a long time favorite destination for sophisticated guests.

Ray Parks and Associates was selected to create a Master Plan for Ventana’s future and recapture the rustic charm and serenity. The Architectural goals were to reconnect the buildings to their natural surroundings and enhance the guest’s exposure to the coastal environment and ocean views. Some of the buildings were completely demolished and rebuilt while others were renovated with new decks, bathrooms and interiors.

The new suites at the Ventana Inn have a unique design which allows uncommon flexibility for the guests to adapt the room to their individual nature. The bathroom with it spa tub can be completely closed for privacy or completely opened to the master bedroom, patio and coastal views beyond depending on the guest’s preferences.

The new arrival was designed to create a new identity and to help distinguish the hotel lobby within the natural setting. The pool and other outdoor seating areas were created for the guests to relax and enjoy the Big Sur coastal experience.
